Julia is a principal lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire where she leads the Division of Public Relations and Communication Management. She was born in Iran and grew up in both the UK and Canada. She has worked in both consultancy and in-house roles in the private and non-profit sectors. Julia has a BSc in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Victoria, Canada, and an MSc and PhD in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
Her research interest are in organization-public relations, community relations, and CSR.
